We were given five physical senses at birth and of these five the eyes are our principle means of gathering information from the outside world. Eighty percent to be more precise. The other four share the remaining twenty percent With the ears leading the pack. Perception seems to be the main means our mind colors our view point of things outside our individual consciousness. Over our live time we gather perceptions we accept as-true from the adult(s) that surround our earlier years until we reach the age of reasoning, so called. It was several years before I began to experience of these perceptions. It was around my junior year of high school that I was squinting my eyes to see. Strong limitations on my youthful exuberance was added to my already over burden Psyche. Yes sir and no sir were the only two words we were allowed to use when addressing our father. Compound this with the ensuing arguments from mother in in her unsuccessful attempts to buy us things that kids our age would normally get but denied to us.
